Revolut introduced a promotional 5% AER variable rate for new UK customers opening an Instant Access Savings account.

The rate applies to balances of up to £25,000 and is available to customers who register between June 5 and August 4. It will remain in effect until December 4, after which accounts will move to the standard rate associated with each subscription plan. Eligible deposits are protected by the FSCS through ClearBank up to £120,000 per person.
