FinTech investments in April decreased by 43% from March to $9.6 bn, the deal number decreased by 31% from March to 541 transactions. However, funding of companies with sustainable business models is still ongoing.
New players:
▪️4 fintech unicorns appeared in April 2022, up to 309: Coda Payments raised $690 m at $2.5 bn – the largest round among new unicorns in April.
▪️Fintech is the second biggest group in the CNBC Disruptor 50 list – 2022 (as of May 2022) and was the second by investments in May.
