Alpha Foods Partners With Just Egg, Improves Its Vegan Chicken Nutrition

California-based vegan food brand Alpha Foods announced a partnership to expand Alpha’s breakfast offerings featuring Just Egg. Alpha Foods is available in more than 11,000 retail locations across the U.S. “These partnerships with Just Egg and Every Co., combined with our use of our new HME protein and enhanced formulations, will enable us to continue bringing innovative, craveable, and delicious products to our consumers, thus solidifying Alpha’s position as a leader that continues to create the most craveable, convenient, and accessible options in the plant-based market,” Cole Orobetz, CEO of Alpha, said in a statement According to Orobetz, these partnerships are key to Alpha’s growth and contribute to “raising awareness about the continuous innovation needed within the plant-based category.”

Shortly after this Alpha Foods was acquired by The LIVEKINDLY Collective and became the sixth food brand in its portfolio.

Alternative protein is a hot sector with many start-ups popping up, partnerships, collaborations, and giants like Starbucks, Nestle, Burger King, Tyson Foods, etc are becoming active players. Insights from GlobalData’s Job Analytics database show that a number of “plant-based” job listings increased by 32% in Q2 (the U.S.A).
