SoftBank-backed OYO, Indian hospitality group, has announced it is reorganizing to scale up the number of hotels and homes on its global platform.
OYO plans to add people to partner-relationship management and business development teams and reduce its engineering, corporate headquarters and OYO Vacation Homes teams.
RLC sees it as a positive development as the client satisfaction has not been addressed before and in a situation with a growing competition it may become a key factor. Home business, which is mostly in Europe, can also be of less focus as the tourism market growth rate there will be outperformed by the Asian.
